From tragedy to Triumph
This is a two-hour walking tour through what was a disaster zone just a decade ago. You will stop at the Firefighters’
Memorial, the NYPD Wall of Honor, the American Express Memorial and The Chapel of Saint Paul where firefighters slept for more than eight months while putting out the long-burning fire and removing the debris of the Twin Towers. The National 9/11 Memorial is now a 5.5-acre (2 hectare) garden planted with 102 oak trees around four inward-facing waterfalls. You can opt to explore the memorial and pay tribute to the 3000 lives lost on the day of the attack by choosing second option.
This tour is available only wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It also can be arranged other days of the week for a party of 4 people or more. Please call 1-800-303-8353 to reserve with a 48 hour notice.
